This was created by a friend of mine. Hope this helps if you ever find a lost or stray dog.
Found Dog Information
- Post signs in the vicinity where you found the dog, immediately!
- Take the dog to the any vet (emergency vet if after hours) to be scanned for a microchip.
- Make sure the dog is secure in your yard or house so that they don’t get out.
- Post a free ad with the SA Express-News the same day.
- Call Man & Beast @ (210) 590-7387 to see if the dog has been reported lost.

Register the dog on all of these sites if you do not match them with a lost notice!
- Contact Animal Care Services @ 210.207.4PET (4738) to see if the dog has been reported lost. DO NOT TAKE THE DOG TO ANIMAL CARE SERVICES. THEY WILL BE EUTHANIZED IF NOT CLAIMED IN 72 HOURS.
- If you cannot keep the dog until the owner is found, contact the following:
